Coach Amanda has over 25 years of experience as a swim coach and instructor. She is in her 4th year as the 10&Under lead coach at Spartan Aquatic Club, and previously coached at Dynamo Swim Club for 16 years. Amanda’s passion is introducing kids to swimming and facilitating a love for the sport. Amanda was born and raised in Lilburn, GA where she began her swimming career in the Atlanta area, and later swam in college for the Division I University of Kentucky Wildcats. It was there that she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Social Work as well as her Masters in Social Work. She has recently graduated with her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Amanda is married to Joel Tarpley, and they have 4 children.

Coach Leo is entering his second year with the Woods of Parkview, He currently serves as an assistant coach at Spartans Aquatic Club. Leo graduated from Piedmont University with two degrees in Mass and Sports Communications. While he has a deep love for the pool and the sport of swimming, he is continuing to pursue his future career in sports journalism.
