The Parkview Poolcats swim team competes in the summer Gwinnett County Swim League. The Gwinnett County Swim League is a competitive summer swimming program with 45 teams representing approximately 6500 athletes, ages 4 - 18. The Parkview Poolcats is a large team, with over 100 members in 2018, that welcomes swimmers of all skill levels. We are very excited to have a new head coach in 2019, Andrew Brock, who is an accomplished swimmer and student at Samford University in Birmingham, AL.
The swim season runs from mid-May through early July. There are six weekly meets during the season against other teams in Gwinnett County. There is also a County Championship swim meet July 13 & 14, 2019, for the top 50 county qualifiers in each event, which is held at the 1996 Olympic pool at Georgia Tech.
You can join our summer swim team for very reasonable rates. You do not need to be a member of the Woods of Parkview Swim/Tennis Club to participate on the team, but families who join as annual members do receive a discount on swim team registration fees (more info on annual membership).
